And you can’t deny they are very, very critical.
Question: If Michelle Bachmann (R - Batshit Crazy) thinks you would make a good president, does that kill any chance you might have ever had of obtaining said office?
Discuss.

I’d like to think so, but, on reflection, she probably would have said the same about Reagan, if asked in the 1970s.
OTOH, I believe American political demographics have changed significantly since 1980 and recently have passed a tipping point leftward – which still leaves the American political center-of-gravity far to the right of other industrial democracies’, but also means no one like Reagan (let alone King) will stand a serious chance at the WH in your lifetime or mine.
I suspect Congressman King’s brave stand against federal relief for the victims of Hurricane Katrina might take care of that campaign.
That interview was hilarious.
Translation: my life is a Norman Rockwell painting. Then we have apple pie and play a game of pickup baseball. LOOK HOW AMERICAN I AM.
Wow, I wonder what that would be like. It’s just so foreign to us un-American liberals. My parents sat me down when I was a kid and explained to me that work is evil and we should just live off the government’s teats. Forever. (And then they told me to clean my room and help in the garden and do my homework.)
Your home was destroyed in a natural disaster? Suck it up, lazy poor people.
Awwwww. You got my vote! I’m easy that way.
Unless you’ve lost everything in a hurricane, of course.
Funny…he didn’t have a problem with earmarking $10 million for Sioux City flood control…
From his own Congressional website on house.gov:
Well, that’s different, obviously. Nawlins is a “Chocolate City” full of welfare leeches and degenerate hedonists. Iowa is part of the Real America!
Actually, it’s worse! New Orleans is (was) full of DEMOCRATS!
Has anyone heard how Bachmann’s Super Bowl of Freedom went? It was today but all I’ve seen so far were these few pics from Morons With Signs.
Were there many protesters looking into the whites of congresspeople’s eyes?
How often does she make allusions to aphorisms that imply murderous intent?
This one evokes Bunker Hill. I seem to recall her recently pronouncing that the tree of liberty needed replenishing.
How many remarks like this does it take, in aggregate, before her plausible deniability is completely frittered away? Eventually some yahoo is going to be inspired to go hunting for congress-critters – I hope she rots in the jug, should it come to that.
The rightwing rag Washington Post says 10K showed up
Ten of em got charged with unlawful entry (entering a Congressional office and refusing to leave when told to do so) and/or disorderly conduct (yelling in the hallway outside an office
If the right wing media outlests are saying that “thousands” showed up, it probably means a few hundred morons showed up and milled around with their misspelled signs (when they weren’t breaking into Congressional offices).
To be fair, she did say to leave the pitchforks at home and bring the cameras.
Hannity claimed 20.000 twice before scaling it waaaaay down to 5,000. Rep Boehner says 10,000.
This probably would have gotten a lot more coverage if it didn’t happen the day after the World Series-- and other, more tragic news hadn’t overtaken it.
It was pretty much a huge flop, then. More people show up for regular season hockey games than are showing up for these teabag events anymore. I think more people show up to watch REO Speedwagon play state fairs.
Did she promise to flash some tittie? That might have upped the crowd count.
Protestors failed to cover spread, Vegas made a mint, Bachman said stupid things.
Fire Department said 4,000 at one point. I doubt it got much higher.

It was a fête worse than death.
Looking at photos, the phrase “puppet show and Spinal Tap” springs to mind. It’s funny because it’s sad.
Really, does Michelle Bachmann actually, y’know, work? Does she do anything other than go off the deep end in public, encouraging everyone to come along?
