The Creepy Thread (Stories and Links Welcome)

That’s the most extreme case of diving in soccer I’ve seen.

Some stuff I stumbled across:

The Paranormal Pastor:

This story links to this one (The Specter of the Watchers).

The Saturday Strangeness
67. Subterranean Dwellers

Crap! That looks like he’s possessed, especially the way he finally comes to a stop.

This whole thread just left me with a creepy feeling in the pit of my stomach!

One day when I was little, my sister and I got off the bus and saw a whole bunch of police cars in front of our house. We ran home and found out my mom had been hanging up clothes in the backyard when this strange man approached her. She started screaming for my dad, who happened to see the whole thing from the porch window. Dad ran outside and scared off the man. So, no harm, no foul.

They found the guy a few hours later, stabbing a knife into someone’s lawn and screaming. Turns out he was an actual escaped mental patient.

Whew!

This creepy thing happened last year around Halloween. My husband and I were raking leaves and I noticed something draped over our chain link fence. On closer inspection it revealed itself to be the skin of a squirrell. There were bits of fur stuck to it and the remains of a face and one foot. It was very dried out. I showed it to my husband and he said he would get rid of it when we were done raking. I came back around the corner again a few minutes later and it was gone. I asked him about it and he said he hadn’t done anything with it.
Where did it come from and where did it go!!!

An owl?

We were thinking maybe owl or hawk because we sometimes see them in our yard but neither of us saw anything at the time. And why would they want this dried-up, long-since-picked-clean skin?

I searched for the following link - it regards Ted’s Caving Page. From all indications it appears as though Lera ripped the story off. Just in case others were as interested in the story as I am.

I ran across this youtube video recently - I’d probably be scared if I were in the elevator.

This creeped me out, partially because I live in that area.

Nicely creepy!

It truly is a sick, disturbing and creepy world.

That’s why I help people out of it. I find the ignored, the forgotten, the anguished. They cry out for me. I find them, and as a good neighbor should, I take away their pain. Some of them are afraid, at first. But as they pass, they look at me with gratitude- love even. I’ve helped forty three souls so far.

I’ve told my therapist and my case worker. They don’t believe me. They say ‘You are so sweet! You could never hurt any one!’. They are not entirely wrong. I don’t hurt people. I set them free. I don’t kill. I send people to a new, and eternal life.

I don’t think the police know about me. I don’t particularly care. I know I’ve done nothing wrong, after all. If you’re interested, and if I can find my camera, I can post pictures of my collection. Oh, sorry t disappoint, but I don’t collect corpses or parts of corpses. I collect halos. I have one for each angel I’ve made.

Listverse frequently has some good creepy lists.

Numbers 4 and 1 of the following has haunted me the past couple of days:

It’s October, bump bump.

Let’s do this, people. I’m beginning to fear that I’ve read every creepy thing on the entire internet.

OMG I am SO bookmarking this page.

Not only are you people seriously wacked out, you’ve utterly demolished any hope of me getting anything productive done at work for the foreseeable future.
