FTR : As far as I can tell, Allwalker didn’t play his role well. If the controversy in the claim came from Allwalker, or straight from Pede, I don’t know.

Ultimately this is a matter of opinion… but as town investigator he did investigate good targets, and waited for an appropriate time to reveal his results… and he kept himself under the radar enough not to get lynched or NKd… so if you ask me he did a damn fine job…

FWIW : No one has yet to claim “You are Blackheart / You Are Sinner”. I simply called out someone that had pinged me early on. My tests came up positive. However, I didn’t think that false positives could occur.

WTF are you talking about? AW is confirmed town now… and he flat out said that Rysto is BH. So someone has claimed “You are Blackheart.” Not at you, but at someone else. As for the rest of this part of your post… I have no clue what you are trying to say… quit being vague… explain what these “tests” were. How did you test us? What were your results? Why the fuck wouldn’t share this with us all? It’s not part of your assigned powers, so you had nothing to lose by revealing who you tested, how you tested, and what your results prove to you.

When his time to claim came, he offered an edited claim. Beyond that, the claim did NOT say “You are Town”.

If by edited claim you mean he left out a part of his role PM that would make the sinners want him lynched… after already claiming investigator and making the BH want him lynched… then yeah he did edit it. And hey! What do you know! After he revealed that part of his PM the votes buried him. So it had exactly the reaction he expected. I think his actions were well warranted.

Are you referring to the time I was almost mislynched on Day 2? You know… the first mislynch that you would have supported if it had occured… Or are you referring to when I was killed Night 2 after making myself the obvious target to be mislynched? (I’ll admit this play is questionable but my intent was to make it extremely easy for the doc to protect correctly) Oh… or are you referring to when I was subbed in just before I was mislynched on Day 3? Another mislynch that you supported… seems your voting record is pretty shitty Meeko.

So to answer your questions I have died twice so far in this game. Really there is only one time I have died in this game that you can attribute to poor play on my part… my first death. I think I hurt your poor little feelings and you had to try and make this personal.

I was SO SURE we had finally caught scum. Well, Tomorrow for sure…if there is one. I fear that our chance to play another Day may depend on our Doc (who apparently decided not to claim) blocking the nightkill.

First off, a doc block doesn’t change the equation at all. If there were 4 Blackhearts, then 4 out of the 8 living players would be Blackhearts and the game would already be over. If there are 3 Blackhearts(and I can’t imagine that there’d be fewer), then we’re at lynch or lose whether there are 8 of us remaining or 7.

Second, I am the Doctor, and I’m going to prove it again toMorrow morning by telling you all who I protected toNight. Whoever gets protected toNight: stay quiet, please so I can confirm myself, again.

I don’t know why AllWalker got a guilty when he investigated me. The only thing I can figure is that he got hit by a scum redirector.

Alright Meeko… let’s entertain the “fact”… explain to me in number with the remaining players how the sinners could be more screwed than town. I demonstrated numbers that showed what I truly believe is the current state of the game… you do that same and I’ll reconsider.

Personally, back when we had the entire Chinese post restriction, someone else voiced an opinion that the change to sin was a bad idea. This was around the same time we lynched Paul the first. Paul the first could sinfect as a result of his powers.

Soon after that, we got rid of Hester prynne herself.

We have had multiple instances where previously sinfected town told us they were praying.

I believe that Paul the second, or third, was one of these people.

Paul with sinfection side effects, Gone.
Prynne with who knows what roles Prynee had… Gone
Sinfection due to last person to vote for Execute … Gone

We have Lynched / Ostra that word I never wanted to spell again Sinners. We have yet to touch BlackHearts.

The rules, as this noob understands them, is that the game has at LEAST 2:1 town to scum ratio.

We have been playing for just over a month. 10 people have gone – 2 a week.

8 people left.

The game is not over yet.

So. I think we have something like the following:

5 2 1
4 2 2

Now that I gave you this info, scum, just remember, that it is my first game. So, take it with a grain of salt.

I never hid the fact that I tested Allwalker.

3. Well, you don’t always makes sense to me, but you didn’t in Haggle either. None of us make perfect sense…when playing Mafia. In Haggle, a partial goal of the game is trying to figure out the rules and then make trades/moves that will give yourself the advantage. In Mafia, figuring out the rules(which are mostly related to roles) is quite key, but there are no rule slips. Because there are no rule slips, you can only really make educated guesses.

Realize, Meeko, in many mafia games, we would have gotten a scum by now…not every game goes this long without success. Don’t get too frustrated or use this game as an exclusive sample of what Mafia is like.

You are definitely doing more than treading water. To me, treading water in this game is done by those who barely post or don’t post at all.

I guess responding to his response to my earlier post is kind of beside the point now… but really, if he is Town, deciding to drop out of the game is, um, not good pro-Town play. I’m sure we (assuming that there is at least one other Townie still out there!) would all prefer for this game to be going differently, but I’m still going to keep trying.

And this, of course, is the crux of what we have to decide Tomorrow. Somehow I got confused in the post Rysto is replying to, I don’t know what I was thinking.

I still do believe that Rysto is the player responsible for the “warm feelings of protection” some players have been experiencing. Based on Angel’s testimony that recruited Sinners don’t get to know who their teammates are or participate on the Sin board, I think paul’s idea that Meeko has sinverted and cooked up some kind of plan with Rysto and** peeker** is highly unlikely, though I can’t rule it out entirely.

So, I can think of two possibilities that now seem consistent with the data at hand. The first, and IMO likeliest, is that Rysto is in fact a Blackheart Doc who protects against sin (or maybe doesn’t protect at all, but just gives warm feelings), and has made excellent use of the pseudo-self-confirming nature of his power.

The second, as** Rysto **has just suggested, is that the scum somehow interfered with AllWalker’s investigation.

I expect to be voting for Rysto tomorrow, but would like to hear everyone else’s thoughts on which of the above seem most plausible, or if there is some other possibility I haven’t considered.

Thing Fish : I am still playing, and I am still town. It’s been an interesting first Mafia game for me. I am going to play again, but it’s going to be a game that is a lot easier.

The real problem of it all, is that, I think Paul figured out for himself, that I am not sinner.

He could of at LEAST made a post where he apologized to me. I can’t help him understand if he just shuts down.
