The Crimson Glyph (Werewolf/Mafia/Psychopath)

I’ve been keeping that list updated continuously throughout the game… I figured it’s the only way I could possibly keep track of anything.

In my mind.

I’m still waiting for ed to do the chicken dance from reefer madness.

WIFOM :

“” Coca-cola “” is a misplaced post, perhaps meant for a different Mafia Game?
Catching up is well and good. But we need to move on today as well.

Was anyone else protected last night?

Post 762 and prior.

This is very surreal.

Almost like santo breaking up the turd with the plunger.

I am having flashbacks. Do we really need to have this whole tedious argument about editing posts all over again?

Although few players in this game seem to agree, I think it is desirable and pro-Town to try to get a vote out there by midDay, and as we are approaching that point I will stick my neck out. As always, vote subject to change as more information emerges or as tea leaves dictate… I would really like to go back and do a detailed reread of Day Two, but I doubt I will have time.

I’m going to vote peekercpa. Not because he has been weird and throwing votes around arbitrarily (he just does that). Not because he edited a post; although I’m not impressed with that, it seems clearly a joke in context. Not even (much) because I think my brain will melt if I have to play for long in a game with both him and Meeko.

Rather, because of the actions of his predecessor, Freudian Slit. As I mentioned way back in post 501, I was very suspicious of her conduct on Day One, when it seemed like she was trying to push the Spurious G lynch without actually putting a vote on the record. Then yesterday she was one of four people who voted for paul (without going into detail about her reasoning, but that’s what she does). It seems very likely to me that scum are overrepresented in that group, and since I was one of them and I know I’m Town, the odds seem pretty good of finding scum by voting within that group. The other two (**Mahaloth **and Rysto) haven’t really pinged me, so I’ll keep an eye on them. peeker, however, is unlikely to say anything linear enough to be held accountable for, so whoot, there it is.

Post 808.

Please tell me that we have figured out that meeker and nondeodorant are on the same side.

Back in a bit

I will strongly consider unvoting you if you promise never, ever to provide more detail about this reference.

Oh yeah, Meeko claimed to have been protected last night, so we presumably have some sort of Doctor as well.

No No No, you cannot say meeker, I won’t allow it. I had a hard enough time in Alpha Centuri trying to keep straight Peeker and Seeker. I’m not going to have to spend half my time saying “Peeker, wait Meeker, wait who now?”

If “nondeodorant” is special ed, then yes, we have figured that out, since they’ve both claimed to be “busybodies”, a Mason-like role, and confirmed each other. If “nondeodorant” is someone else, then no we haven’t figured it out, so please share your reasoning.

Quoth Meeko:

Please, everyone, don’t answer this, as the answer would probably help Scum more than Town. We don’t need Scum knowing about Town power roles. If there are any more protectors, they can decide for themselves how best to use their powers, and we especially don’t want it to be public knowledge who they’re protecting.

<Snipped>

Ok, I play this game like a lot of you. Couple minutes here a couple there. Having waded through this for about six hours or more trends become nore visible.

DiNG DiNG DiNG.

We have a (w)sinner.

Fisher.

What do you mean…Fisher?

Ppst 914

Chickenshit.

Come one, Come all.

Are you ready to rrrruuuummmmbbbllleee.

In the blue corner you have meek weighing in at an astoundindingly perfectly proportioned state (don’t fucking even have a clue).

And in the gold corner you have peek fighting under the Cuervo banner of his perpetual state.

Ding ding ding.

peek How bout a beer?

meek Sure

announcer. Here is a drink to the most interesting people in the world.

ps

Peek. I am hammered. Hope you are driving.

To be continued …

I think he is accusing Meeko of “fishing”, i.e. saying things intended to make Town power roles blunder into revealing themselves; obviously a scummy thing to do.

I’m a phuqing mason.

You mean that you think there are Sinners in the group voting for paul, correct? Because the Blackhearts wouldn’t know if Captain or paul were Sinners, Town, or 3rd party.

And likewise, the Sinners wouldn’t know if they were Blackhearts, Town, or 4th party.

And really, if a person thinks someone is Scum, does it really matter what kind of Scum? I mean, maybe if we knew 100% that one person was a Sinner, and knew 100% that some other person was a Blackheart, there’d be a basis to decide there which one to kick out first, but when are we ever going to be in that situation?

You (ed the phuqing mason) are right, Sinners would have a stronger motivation to vote for paul (protecting Capt. Pinkies) Blackhearts would still have a motivation to pile votes on anyone who they knew wasn’t a Blackheart, though (which happened early on as paul jumped to a six-vote lead). I am going to try to analyze Yesterday’s voting patterns in more detail and report back.
