Responses to the Catechism of Meeko (four posts up), in order:
I think he is likely against us, if by “us” you mean Town. See my lengthy post from yesterday for further explanation.
I don’t know. He actually said “flavor”, but that doesn’t make sense, either. If he is trying to make us feel guilty about voting for him when he never wanted to be in the game in the first place, I both hope and expect that nobody will be buying that.
What is the reason that you don’t vote peeker? Aside from its being Night, I don’t know that either.
No.
And of course there *are *other issues, we need to be continually looking at everyone, not just one player. But I happen to think that peeker, as it stands, will likely be my choice for Tomorrow’s lynch.
Well, I’m not sure that everyone is on board with us here , Chronos. Until I am proven otherwise, and / or I am told that we can’t do it, I’d say we continue.
He’s an attention whore who likes being confusing. It doesn’t mean he’s anti-Town, it just means he amuses himself by making us scramble.
We’ve already wasted 2 Days listening to Meek-speak, let’s not waste more time debating peek-speak.
Let’s go back to analyzing things. If you have a point against peeker, make it an actual point, don’t get into how he says things. Don’t play his little game. Just go on about your business, and find Scum. If you think peeker is Scum, get reasons that aren’t so far out into the meta-universe as 'why is he playing" He’s playing. End of Story.
We had started doing so well actually analyzing posts. I was expecting some vote analysis too, and maybe some real reasons to find Scum. Let’s get back to work.
Additionally, the nonsense posts and the hidden posts, while entertaining are NOT part of the game.
If you have actual game content to share, please do it in a fashion that everyone can easily understand.
If you’re playing around, OK, great, but that stuff isn’t really a part of finding Scum, so it doesn’t belong in any way invovled with actual game content, ok?
you know that i want to go scum busting as much as the next soul. but when placed on b.s. i am going to call it. tell ya’ what, you vote mahaloth and it will be good for town. little bird told me.
Meeko, if a Martyr is the same as a Jester (the term I am familiar with) – a player whose win condition involves trying to get lynched, my impression is that it is considered poor form for a mod to put such a character in the game without publically announcing it, as otherwise it is just too easy for someone to get lynched. So, I don’t think that is likely the case.
Ah jeez, peeker, a “little bird”? Is that a softclaim in your magic bag or are you just happy to confuse me?
A brief dissertation on “softclaiming”, which I never got around to back when paul was doing it.
peeker now is hinting that he has some extra information the rest of us aren’t privy to, telling him to vote Mahaloth. Being peeker, he is phrasing this in such a vague and confusing way as to potentially leave himself the out of denying that was what he meant, but let’s put that aside for the moment.
Assume** peeker** is telling the truth, and that he is Town. This means that he is a Town power role. This means that the scum now know that, too, and they will try to kill him. That’s really all the scum need to know; their decision making process will not be greatly altered by knowing exactly how his powers work.
If he is scum, however, he doesn’t want to explain how his (real or fictitious) powers work. He wants to maintain the maximum possible freedom to be able to make up more lies in the future, depending on what misinformation best suits his team’s needs at that time, without having to contradict himself.
Ergo, once someone has claimed to be a power role, there is no pro-Town reason for failing to come clean with the details of what the role is and how it works.

ok, this hurts a bit. i am trying to do right. help me fisher/ how can i be more helpful? i post the equivalent of a partiipant WOW without extranewous stuff. and continue to try to contribute.
is it really more meaningful to link to posts that are not contributory?
and to not call out someone who is either lying or is just mistaken. that’s bad?
