The Crimson Glyph (Werewolf/Mafia/Psychopath)

Quoth peekercpa:

How, precisely, do you think Meeko knows you’re town?

And how, precisely, do you know that voting mahaloth would be a good thing?

peeker, you’re claiming to know things that regular Town players wouldn’t know. One way to know things is to be Scum, and unless you give me reason to assume otherwise, that’s what I think you are.

Chronos, I tend to agree with you, but I have outstanding questions for Peeker, that I am awaiting answers to. I will get back to this, trust me.

Chronos, What are the odds that just you an I understand what I am doing with the…“nonsense” messages? Answer in kind if you please.

just because the agenda changes never forget your focus.

and, screw it, i hopped in this game on a request.

if you want a lurker just let me know.

bye for a couple.

i’ll be back meeko

most definitely

thing i’ll be fucking hammered and we can really have a discussion

ed get the constitution ready to go.

Chronos, Back me up here:

I might be confusing the game up a bit, but I am not off the rails.

Perhaps Peeker should take notes from me.

Peeker : I was quoting Looney Tunes and Geocaching earlier. I am still waiting for you to prove that you are not dicking around.

I am going off my self.

I am going away for dinner.

Hopefully NOT in the sense that::

I am at dinner, not where I am eating, but where I am being eaten.

that’s all folks

be vewwy quiet we are hunting wabbits

meeko is a turd

scewby dooo

that kind of shit?

I don’t know, Chronos. Peeker put his very first vote on me for no reason. He’d been in the game just a short time and was pissed that I told Meeko that Ped could be trusted for rule explanation.

He said that Ped is always suspect and voted for me then.

Roles had not even been assigned and the game had not begun. He then unvoted me and voted others, then tried to split his vote into quarters.

He’s just playing illogical. Why his vote is on me is beyond anyone.

It is what it is.

Technically his vote is NOT on me, as you CAN’T vote at Night, right?

Well?

Stop this or, fellow mason or not, I’ll vote you for making the game more unplayable. Some of us here actually know how to play mafia and want to play mafia. We don’t want to play around with peek and meek dicks. So stop it already.

Here it is in all its glory, post 1220. Not to be confused with post 1244, where peeker* again* votes for Mahaloth, having briefly voted for ed in the interim. I can accept these as jokey votes made as he was catching up and not intended to be in force at the end of the Day, but why his vote is (kind of) currently on you is indeed beyond, at least, me.

Yay! Working links! At least I’ve learned something this game…

Chronos, I think we can rule out Special Ed for getting the message.

Peeker has not answered my question about soft claiming that he knows Mahaloth better than we do.

He is ignoring the question.

Why is he ignoring the chance to claim?

1.He is scum, and is not going to claim, because it would mean an easy lynch.

2.He is vanilla townie, but he is lying. not a good move on his part, given the towns current perception of him.

**The fact remains, if he does not successfully claim a town power role, he IS being anti town.

**

He might not want to claim because it would leave him vulnerable to a NK. But, then again, I am pretty sure the town would have taken actions, if he was as Pro Town as he wants to be.

All I know, is that if Mahaloth or I don’t make it till tommorow, I know who I would have voted for.

Eh, he has a point. Speaking rot-13 doesn’t really do anything for the game. But if it’ll get you off the subject, I’ll ask:

Who here knows what rot-13 is?

There, now anyone else who knows can just say so, and you can stop cluttering up the game thread with posts that most of the players can’t read.

NETA :

I could have it all wrong.

But at that point, it would be on Peeker to prove that he is Town, outside of what I just handed him.

If he can do that, then great, it would be virtually the same as him supporting his soft claim. No real loss or gain here, just a different road to the same outcome.

Yet, if he also chooses not to, or indeed CAN’T prove a new option here, then we must look at him even closer.

Much like Paul the first before him, I feel that Peeker has dug a hole here. If he is Town, there should be a way for him to remain alive. More delay equals more of a grave for him.
Noob quesiton:

Would peeker be this … of a hinderance to the game if he was a power role?

I am just saying, I am close to an open and shut case here on peeker. Need the smoking gun.

Anyone else want to jump in here, and help?

I can understand why you would not want to help me at night.

Again, you would know who I would vote for, If it comes to it, that I can’t, for any reason.

I suppose there is the third possibility, that he has some weird nonstandard role (always a very real possibility in a pedescribe game) that actually is more helpful to Town if softclaimed than if explicitly claimed. But if that is the case, he needs to say so and try to convince us of it, which I think would be a hell of an uphill battle at this point.

And as I said earlier, if he is Town, he has already told the scum all they need to know, and he is very open to a NK attempt. Before he told us he was a power role, he had a good pro-Town motive for not doing so – avoiding the NK. But now that he has, in effect, told us (and Them) that, it is unlikely that there is any pro-Town motive for not giving us all the details.

What really REALLY baffles me, is that Special Ed automatically assumed I was speaking gibberish. Did it never occur to him, that I was speaking in a code? Has he no idea what a cypher is? Are we at a place now, where everyone else is stupid, if they are not as stupid as I am?

**
Why is he in a place, where he considers me being stupid, before him?**

Something is not right there, but in those situations, I think the party not knowing the issue at hand, will always assume that they are smarter.

Very interesting situation .

But hey, Thing Fish, at least I am playing the game now, right?

Do you want to try it now Peeker?

Can you?

**Does it Matter when the night actions stack, during the night?

What happens here, if the PMs are sent to pede in THIS order?

Scummy 1 : Sinfect Joe Smith
Town-Power Riole 1: Protect Joe Smith from Sinfection

Are Actions

Last in, First Out,
First in, First Out
Last in, Last out
First in, Last out

Or is there some inherent priority here, that is independant of when the “move” comes in the PM box? **

Typically, a protective role takes precedence over a kill/recruit(doing otherwise renders the protective role rather useless).
