Moderators, actually. A Bastard Mod game is a game where the mods will actively screw with the players. For example, there was a third-party role who could target one player each Night and player rock-paper-scissors with them. If the third-party won the game, the loser had a post restriction for the rest of the game that they had to talk in [del]lolkat[/del] lolcat. Every scum player in the game was actually playing for a solo victory(each scum thought that they were the sole “traitor”). One player could only vote during the day; they weren’t allowed to say anything. So on, on so forth.
They called it the “Gastard” game because of an incident in the Batman game. A player claimed to have a post restriction that they had to replace all b’s in their posts with g’s. There was a lot of complaining about gastard mods at the time(ironically, role claim was false).
**Hey… Like I said I am always willing to sub in. If anyone else wants out of this nightmare I am more than willing to play victim. I am a glutton for mafia punishment. **
Ah, OK, I figured that “gastard” was related to “bastard”, somehow. I take it then that “the gastard game” Nanook referred to was the Batman game which spawned the term?
And while we’re at it, do any Blackhearts feel like volunteering to be modkilled? I won’t complain, honest.
Does anyone else remember pickup baseball games as a kid, where you didn’t have enough players, and so ended up with “ghost runners” on bases? For some reason, that’s what paul reminds me of.
In any event, he’s dangerous right now, because here it’s the fourth Day, and we know absolutely nothing about him. For toDay, I’m still more worried about peeker, about whom we know bad things, but unless paul3.0 contributes a Hell of a lot before toMorrow, I think we need to seriously consider lynching him.
And I presume that he’s still not allowed to discuss any of his previous incarnations? And further that he hasn’t been following the Forbidden Thread?
