The cult of Bohemian Grove

If everyone think like that, there would be no motive for this forum. Every doubt that someone had could be killed by this frase: ‘‘what’s the problem?’’, ‘‘it’s how the things are’’, ‘‘forget that, lets watch superbowl’’

More accurately, “what’s the debate again?” You posted links to a website of a known conspiracy theorists, who has been described with such terms as nutcase, wacko and lunatic, and that his website should not be trusted. You trust his website and believe what he is saying. Why is that? Do you have any other sites which supports his research & conclusions?

Also, I find it charming when new- or first-time-posters tell us how the forums are supposed to work. That always ends well.

Well, you could show up outside their next gathering with a torch, a pitchfork and a video camera if you’re so worked up about it.

Be specific: What is the problem?

Even if those people did worship a statue of an owl - so what? Why would you have a problem with that?

Off couse, you want that the men that control the media to allow their journals to talk about something that they dont wanna people talking about.

Richard Nixon about bohemian grove

Sorry, i have a problem with superpoweful men doing things that they don’t want nobody to know. This goes against my concept of democracy.

Believe it or not, outside of certain strict boundaries, even rich people get to have privacy. There’s nothing REALLY going on at Bohemian Grove because there are no gods or supernatural creatures, regardless of whether some silly humans decide to worship them. Bohemian Grove is a kind of fraternal association, and fraternal associations get up to some of the silliest of the silly things just out of building bonds of community and brotherhood within the organization. That’s all that’s going on here.

The first thought a sane person should have about anything Alex Jones so much as points to silently should be “what a crock of owl pellets!”

Besides which…Bohemian Grove? The 70s called. They want their silly season line items back.

And with a 12 m owl, that’s a big crock.

ok, to make my point. George Bush and John Kerry are members of Skull and Bones, a secret society that is similar to Bohemian Club. They was on opposite sides in the presidential election, but they was from the same group. If it doesn’t matter who really won?

Where do you draw the line, though?

If this is indeed religion - and you seem to believe that it is - isn’t that a private matter? Do you not believe that freedom of religion should extend even to the rich and the powerful?

Again, nothingburger. Skull & Bones is a stupid college boys’ club. It’s not Bilderbergers Junior League. (Not that Bilderbergers are what gullible people who are addicted to complicated but false conspiracy theories think they are, either.)

Yeah, and Clinton and Huckabee both play the saxophone. So what?

Well, you convinced me. Because I always vote, act, and believe exactly the same as every other one of my fraternity brothers.

Here’s a site of Professor G. William Domhoff, from sociology dep., University of California, expressing his concerns about this topic.

Another journalist report about the meeting

Good thing we’re not a democracy, then; we’re a republic: we elect wise philosopher-kings to make all the tough decisions for us. Meeting behind closed doors under mysterious circumstances is just part of the program, and always has been.

Why would you think that?

Less than you think.

You should look on the concept of meritocracy, the thing that capitalism use to explain how the money/power are distributed(of course, a lie).

I don’t expect you to have read anything by Prof Domhoff, but did you even read your own cite?

“However, it is not a place of power. It’s a place where the powerful relax, enjoy each other’s company, and get to know some of the artists, entertainers, and professors who are included to give the occasion a thin veneer of cultural and intellectual pretension. Despite the suspicions of many on the Right, and a few on the Left, it is not a secret meeting place to plot, plan, or conspire. The most important decisions typically happen just where we might expect: in the boardrooms of corporations and foundations, at the White House, and in the backrooms of Congress. Yes, as I show later, some wanna-be and has-been Republican politicians sometimes visit the Bohemian Grove, including future and former presidents of the United States, but they are there to demonstrate what wonderful human beings they are, to cultivate potential financial backers, or to brag about their past exploits.”

Bolding added.
