The current second Trump administration: a compendium of horrors

Ooh – ooh – I know this one! Call on me, teacher, call on me!
The Monroe Doctrine. (Just subsitute “narcotraffickers” for “European colonial empires.”)

More like The Morone Doctrine.

As Bugs used to say:

What a maroon!

We’re going to deport him to Sweden? No, wait, that’s the Moronie doctrine.

Not to be confused with The Moroni Doctrine, which justs makes you live in Utah.

Of course the bit in the Moroni Doctrine about multiple concubines just might prove popular with some folks in the current criminal regime.

Must be some way I can collect all that plus my George Soros protest check.

So if Pete Hegseth is threatening a country in the Western Hemisphere, does that mean we’re supposed to attack him?

It should.

Or at least we should support whichever country does so.

If you’re going to call it the Department of War, you have to live up to the name.

Nah; not our job. He’s supposed to beat himself up until he surrenders to himself.

I see he’s been practicing (Instagram video):

Here’s a good one:

Agri-Life Media: Thanksgiving turkey prices up 70%

Note to international readers: Retail U.S. turkeys are mostly sold this time of the year as loss leaders with pricing often tied to your purchase history at the store. So it is hard to measure the impact of the wholesale price rise on retail, but it has to exist.

Probably Biden’s fault. Or Woke.

Trump said Thanksgiving prices are down so this is obviously fake news. Both Walmart and DoorDash say everything is cheaper.

Sure. Walmart says things are cheaper if you don’t put as much in your cart. That makes total sense.

It’s part of the MAHA (Make America Healthy Again) movement. Thanksgiving dinner is cheaper this year because we aren’t eating all that unhealthy stuff and are focusing on celery. Enjoy!

In spirit, I agree with the last post. But actually, the recommended Walmart 2025 Thanksgiving food package has been stripped of celery:

I guess that makes sense since we no longer have ag workers to harvest celery.

It looks like Trump has had to back off a bit on tariffs. Could he use this as an excuse not to proceed with the “$2000 for each American” payout he promised? “I woulda done it, but you forced my hand!”.
