ICE agents shoot and kill a woman driver in Minneapolis this morning.
DHS says, of course, that the driver attempted to run over the LEOs, but that claim is disputed.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey calls the claim the shooting was self-defense “bullshit” and is a “garbage narrative” after seeing video of the shooting.
You can see the video for yourself. The murderer was in front of the car, near the driver’s side, as she turned the wheel and started her right turn to drive away. She started slowly, and the murderer had plenty of time to move out of the way, which he did. Then he murdered her. Her name was Renee Nicole Good.

I did something that I never did before with a tragedy like this, which is to watch the video. My idea is that it might be a bad idea emotionally for me, and, anyway, you are unlikely to see the whole context. I’m not sure about the personal emotions. I did not see the victim.
There is an officer who was at the front left of the vehicle and who you cannot see until the car starts moving. I do not think the driver put that officer in immediate danger, but I am uncertain.
AFAIK, in the U.S., if you are told by police to get out of your car, and you drive away, that is a serious crime. It should NOT result in your being shot.
Although it is a bad idea, I think the police would be legally justified in starting a high speed chase that could well result in a fatal crash.
As reported in the New York Times, Kristi Noem said that "the agent who killed her ‘used his training to save his life and those of his colleagues.’”
Based on the video, what Noem said is not accurate.
It is possible that the victim was killed by an frightented officer who the victim endangered a second or two earlier. I’m not saying that is true – it is just a best case interpretation of the police action.
I don’t know if his name has been released, but there is film showing enough of his face for an identification.
I watched the video. The ICE thug was in no danger. It was flat-out murder.
This is America; the job of the authorities is to persecute people the authorities don’t like. The ICE guy didn’t like her and shot her, since he was ICE he was by definition doing his job killing some random person just because he could. That sort of thing is what he was hired for.

According to this video, a resident was a physician who was denied the opportunity to check the woman’s vital signs or render aid. He identified himself as a physician, and an ICE agent says (audible on the video), “I don’t care.”
Also in that video, a woman is screaming ‘you just killed my fucking neighbor’. If it’s true that the victim lived in the neighborhood, then it’s somewhat tough to believe that she was a domestic terrorist, as asserted by Kristi fucking Noem.
