The only adults that I’ve ever heard use “daddy” turned out to be (US) Southern folk. I’ve never heard it said without a strong drawl anyway.

No idea why our Agency head deemed it no longer needed. But never let it be said that NOTHING good happened under Trump - even if it is simply a cessation of being hit over the head with a hammer - which was initiated under him.
