This is mindless and for some reason I feel the need to share.
I was looking at Mopeds for no good reason and came across this. One of those little motorcycles people use to deliver pizza and stuff. The small-engine one is probably a moped, no need for a motorcycle license.
(100kg of me on 49ccs? I don’t think so.)
What a cute little toy! Just the thing for when I retire.
If anyone wants to know what to get me for Christmas, here it is.
A gentle bump.
You know what I really like is the cargo capacity. DO they make nifty boxes like that for real motorcycles?
I’d drive that. But I’m a girl so I’d probably get it in a different color and put flowers on it.
I would love to move to Europe, and it seems to me a little scooter might be better for navigating those narrow little streets.
I actually took and passed my motorcycle and scooter test with the vague notion of getting one to beat the traffic to work. The practical part of the test was such an exercise in white-knuckle terror that I promptly forgot the whole idea!
I still think a pearlescent black Vespa would look mighty cool in my driveway though!
A Google does not show a huge delivery box like that being (commonly at least) available elsewhere. I wonder why? Motorcycle people probably do not want to be mistaken for a retired English teacher.
Not even the ones who are.
Yes. They make something very similar for couriers but I couldn’t find a good link.
If you want a toy, how about a mini-moto?
Hmm. I’m not much of a fan of the design of that scooter. The luggage compartment is a nice touch. Fingernail-red just doesn’t do it for me - nor the “radical dude!” styling.
Here is what small motorbikes are supposed to look like.
Tomos is another company that has decent looking mopeds (yes, that cycle has pedals) Not what I would ride, but it beats riding around on a lipstick-colored two-wheeler that looks like a 16 year old was responsible for the design. (No offense to 16 year-olds.)
Mini-moto? Who? Why? What for?
