Queen Tonya is #49.
Wait! No one else thought of Cunard? I didn’t expect people to go for White Star, but… Cunard had the Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth, Queen Elizabeth II, and now the Queen Mary II. All of which were the liners of their day.
Tradition and excellence people.

My answers to 4 and 5 did me in. “Shrimp Boat”? What was I thinking? I did, however, think Exxon Valdez would have got more traction for #5. Oh well, my customary mediocrity.
Thanks for the game!!
As I predicted…sigh…
Well, actually better than I thought I’d do.
Woo hoo, yay ships! And an anchors aweigh, just for Elendil’s Heir Yes, I knew what it really was–I just had a senior’s moment brain fart.
I doubt that it’ll make any difference (since they’re only one each), but you have “Perfect Storm” and “The Perfect Storm” listed as separate answers.
Third place… woohoo! One of my favorite categories yet, too. Thanks!
I consider Cunard and White Star to be shipping lines, not “cruise lines,” which is a more recent (and far less elegant/nostalgic) concept, IMHO.
Jeepers, dead last. Clearly I haven’t got my sea legs.
Back in the middle of the pack!
My best performance. Next time I’ll go for fourth to last.
For question # 6, “Perfect Storm” and “The Perfect Storm” are the same answer - I (and whoever else said it) should get 4 more points (not that that lifts me out of the pathetic 42 position.
I reran it and it bumped kenner116 up a notch.
Sorry about that! Sometimes my eyes start crossing when I do the scoring!
Yay! I needed a lift in spirits, my morning sucked.
