You do see the difference between a post that responds to something you find personally offensive by critiquing the contents of the post as opposed to an ad-hominem diatribe?
This is probably a stupid question, but if he was lying and you could prove he was lying, why didn’t you report him? If nothing else, I’d think that would come under the general “don’t be a jerk” heading.

How many feet you got there, pardner? Seems like you have a problem with moderating, which should be posted in ATMB, and another problem with people who don’t see the world as you do. Maybe this place just isn’t for you. You strike me as rather a hypersensitive tool much of the time, but I don’t count you as malicious and disingenuous as the posters you mentioned in the OP. We’re guys who would never be pals, but probably not enemies IRL, and so I value yours as one of many voices to heed or ignore.
As for the ignore function not keeping dickweeds from derailing a thread, it would if everyone could agree on what a dickweed is and ignore them.

Anyways. I don’t spend most of my time here. Don’t try to Huey me. I post in the Pit on a few topics that only are discussed in the Pit. Furthermore, just because I dislike a subset of what is allowed in the Pit that doesn’t mean that I dislike 100% of the pit and that I am going to be petulant and threaten the mods with the tragedy of my flouncing if I don’t get my way with a kinder and gentler pit.
My main issue with the Pit is that contrary to the retarded myth that it’s a so-called safety valve the existence of this sub forum causes unnecessary strife. Shouldn’t we be working for a safe and welcoming board?
