Getting cheered for saying she believes in science, though… that’s a pretty grim assessment of Republican sentiments.

I think she’s getting into a speaking rhythm now.
It looks like the DNC heard the snark about “no American flags at the Dem convention”, and said “you want flags? Here’s 10,000, assholes.”
I think she hits maybe 1 note out of 5.
Luckily, press conferences are delivered in a conversational tone. Closer to a townhall meeting.
The crowd shouts “Hillary” to drown out the protesters.
Every time they’ve cut to Bernie I try to cajole a smile from him through the tv screen.
The throat-clearing is unfortunate, but FFS, she’s been speaking almost continually for the past year. Some folks’ larynxes (I have no idea what the plural form of ‘larynx’ is) just aren’t quite up to it. I think she’s doing great.

It just hit me that we’re going to be seeing debates between her and Trump. I’m trying to imagine it and I can’t, but it will be entertaining.
You know what is amazing? Gore has developed into a really engaging speaker. He has learned how to relax and use his dry humor. YouTube some of his recent speeches. You may be surprised.
