From the debate: If you believe in climate change, DO NOT vote for a Republican. Things mentioned by both were “drill, baby, drill,” get rid of the EPA, cancel all electric vehicle progress, China is still polluting, so why should we do anything? And the list goes on and on.
Why do they want to bring back memories of Palin? Is she so loved by MAGAheads?
That’s not what they mean by that.
They’re certain that we could relieve ourselves of requiring the use of foreign oil, if we produced more at home. It’s a shortsighted INDEPENDENCE thing.
It is another expression of “Can you believe how expensive gas is???”

I think the suckers will buy it.
Both go to their corners. Haley gets smelling salts and a bucket to spit in. DeSantis’s cut man is working on his left eye.
Sadly this is likely to be true. And there are way too many suckers among the Florida GOP electorate.
Even so, DeSantis has lost some of the sheen of inevitability that he enjoyed once he announced his candidacy. A lot of his defenders must know they can’t, anymore, present those “God created a fighter” memes without being laughed out of the room.
