I grew up in mid-Michigan, and was in high school during the “Bad Boys” Pistons championship years. Then, I spent four years at school in Indiana, watching the Larry Bird Pacers.
I’m in the Twin Cities now, and everybody thinks I’m loony to be more excited about the Eastern Conference finals than the Western.
Good for Larry the Jerk and the team.

So here’s what I’m left with:
Pacers – Hate them more than any other NBA team.
Lakers – Respect them, but love watching them lose.
Pistons – Hate them nearly as much as the Pacers.
Timberwolves – Meh. Whatever.
So now I’m left with rooting for a “meh” team, by default. Gee, this’ll be exciting for me. :rolleyes:
