Just as a heads up, if you or she are in jobs where there are future pensions or retirement payments involved, you need to make clear (and get signed off) what the disposition of these potential assets will be. Some lawyers forget all about this until it’s too late, and a person discovers years after the divorce that an ex wife of husband is entitled to a big chunk of their retirement pie.
THanks, we did talk about my pension and verbally she agreed it was mine. It wasn’t added to the agreement, but I will bring it up with my attorney.
