Hey you guys!
Holy cow, I totally forgot about Spiderman. Are there any vidcaps or screen shots of Spidey on the Electric Company? My googling is weak. :smack:

I quote this all the time, but it’s a rare bird that gets it. Then again, I was too old for The Electric Company, but I used to watch with my youngest sister, who’s 11 years younger than I. Maybe I need to use that line on younger folks??
“Jennifer of the Jungle, you’re a joy!”

Don’t throw it in the water.
You will get pollution.
Works on contigency? No, money down!
Hmm, seems like Lionel Hutz got his legal ideas from The Electric Company.
Dang. Having watched one of the DVDs, I’m now filled with all sorts of magical nostalgaic memories.
I would be thrilled if CTW would release a CD of The Electric Company songs. I’d also love to see a DVD compilation of their musical numbers. I am absolutely dying to hear “Sweet Sweet Sway” again.
Dang.

…Yay!
Just got mine in the mail over the weekend.
I talked with some reps from WGBH at a conference a couple of years ago about whether they knew if CTW was planning to offer the Electric Company episodes for sale. The woman I talked to said that there were many rights problems that had to be worked out before they could be offered on DVD/VHS. It looks like they’ve worked out some of them at last, so keep your eyes open for other offerings. This “Best of…” set is a good sign!!!
I can’t hear you. There’s a banana in my ear.
There’s a hole . . .
There’s a hoooole . . .
There’s a hole in the bottom of the seeeeeeaaa . . .
This week’s issue of the Onion has a review of the Electric Company DVD in the A.V. Club.
BTW, did anyone else think that Allison of The Short Circus was really, really cute? As a young lad, I certainly did.
I dunno. I was too fixated on Buddy. (Especially the one skit they do where he’s in the tub…)
JThunder wants Electric Company songs:
On the box set of Tom Lehrer that came out a year or so ago, a lot of the Electric Company songs are included. I don’t remeber the name of the set or the play list, but I suspect that Google is your friend.
