I question the premise of some of those. The headline is “Ten Reasons the American Empire Will be Judged as the Most Brutal Empire in History”, but most of those are pretty hohum… Support for dictators, preemptive wars of aggression, torture, assassination of ones’ own citizens, suppression of dissent, elimination of habeus corpus…most empires have historically done that stuff, right?
