My investigation of the Mikey business stopped when Mikey left.
But it did reveal that Walter Wunderlich had never been an “assistant state’s attorney.” There was some speculation he might have worked for the attorney general’s office. I can easily take up this part of the investigation again, but I suspect it would be futile.
As Monty suggests, the DD214 is mischaracterized by the above description. I have a DD214 here; unfortunately, it’s in FormFlow 2.0 format, that being the forms application we use here in OSD.
I am now 100% convinced that Danny is the same person who was posting as Mikey, as Finder, and as Former Agent.
From this point on, I will treat any posts by Danny as if they do not exist, and I urge all others to do likewise. As Susan Powder would say, “Let’s stop the madness!”
I see literally THOUSANDS of DD-214s in my line of business and I have yet to see one as you described.
Oh, and I did a data base search using the name Matthew Anderson, U.S. Marine Corps in the government’s nationwide system (I work for them so I have special access) that logs all veterans who have used the VA disability or medical benefits and I didn’t even get one hit. Go figure.
Since you are such a fountain of knowledge, e-mail me the guys SSN and date of birth and I will research further. You want to proof yourself, here is your chance. Otherwise, you are nothing but a freaking nut job.

You know the old saying “It’s better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt”? Well, it’s better to post rarely and be suspected of being a tin-foil-hat-wearing, no-medication-taking, not-allowed-access-to-sharp-objects sock puppet, than to post “proof” at length and remove all doubt.

Gee, Jab; I’m wounded. Not to take away from another poster’s shooting & scoring, but I believe I posted the link to the actual regulation which the Navy says what does and doesn’t go into said DD Form 214.
Maybe we can label the two posts together as “assists” in the next edition of the Illuminati ™ collectible card game, Straight Dope edition.
