The ends justify the means - Saudi Arabia bans Pokeman

Sometimes being a nut job works to your advantage. According to AP, Saudi Arabia has banned Pokeman, for the following reasons:
[list]
[li] Pokeman "possessed the minds of children[/li][li] Pokeman promotes gambling[/li][li] Pokeman promotes Zionism - the game symbols include “the Star of David, which everyone knows is connected to international Zionism and is Israel’s national emblem, as well as being the first symbol of the Freemasons.”[/li]
Now if only some kooks would take over the WB network.

While a fatwa isn’t exactly a ban, it has pretty much the same effect. Unfortunately the last fatwa that received so much press was the edict that Iran put forth on Salman Rushdie. His popularity skyrocketed in the rest of the world. Well, skyrocketed may be the wrong word, but you get the idea. If Saudi Arabia’s fatwa does the same for the worldwide Pokemon fetish…I just don’t want to think about it.

Dear Lord:

Please let the rest of the world’s countries follow Saudi Arabia’s lead.
My wallet thanks you.

I thought the WB was* run by kooks.
