Few there are who remember the wonderful days of the Euro dynasty in the 1990’s. Classic and legendary songs like Mr. vain emerged and turned out to be huge international successes.
Scandinavian music also had a breakthrough. Danish aqua made a lot of international famed songs such as a Barbie girl.
Is there anyone else who still enjoys the beat of the “dead” Euro?
In fact I would say “scooter” is the last artist who keeps up the somewhat lessened strength of the Eurodance flame.
Trance has taken over but I say it came from Euro.
If there is anyone who would like to cultivate and experience the almost forgotten era then here are my recommendations:
Culture beat: “Mr vain” “Crying in the rain” “Take me away”
2 fabiola “Lift u up”
Aqua “Barbie girl”
The oh “Got to be free”
Roller girl “Licht und farben”
La bouche “Sweet dreams”
Emjay “Point of no return”
Corona “Baby baby”
Scooter “Pose i need you on the floor”
Paradiso “Vamos a la discoteca”
Sash “mysterious times”
