We did, sort of. IIRC, Amyl nitrate had been cracked down on, but Butyl Nitrate was sold in sex shops and head shops in little brown bottles as ‘Rush’. It would intesify a high, but give you a nasty headache later. Remember the old tube TV sets, where the picture would kind of spring into life after a second or two, and you could make the picture bounce around by turning it off and on? It kinda made your head feel like that.
