The Fairy Queen Has Passed On

Marion Zimmer Bradley died of natural causes last night. I haven’t felt this bad since Heinlein died.
HEAVY sigh

How old was she? Wow, this is sad. :frowning:

:frowning:

Okay, yeah, that sucks.

She died at 6:40 pm at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley, Calif. The press release didn’t state her age, but like Asimov, Heinlein, and a few select others, she will live forever in my heart. She was always gracious and generous, and when I chanced to meet her at a few conventions, she always paid for the drinks.
DAMN, it hurts!

Damn.

A great mind and a great heart, hers.

The great ones leave us greedy. For all she gave, I’m mourning for myself because there won’t be more, and no one can take her place.

May she rest in peace, after a life generously lived.
