For the first time that I can recall, the president’s dog Spotty was shown on television running on the white house lawn not leashed, following disembarking from Marine 1. After the president’s walk to the white house was interupted by the president’s response to a reporter, the President entreated to his dog (which was off camera)“What are you doing?”, his face showing some amused concern. There was some laughter in the background, however no explanation from the CNN.

Has anyone got more info on this?

Awww. :slight_smile: What kind of dog is Spotty (His name is actually Spotty?!)? Dalmation? Does he look anything like the dog in the first episode of “That’s My Bush”?

Her name is Spot, and she is a she. Yes, she is a daughter of Millie, and an English Springer Spaniel, as stated above.
