The fix was in, apparently

What definition of ‘grossly negligent’ are you using and why does it differ from the one Comey is using? If 52 email chains is grossly negligent, is there a number lower than 52 but greater than zero that would have been merely negligent?

I was not aware that you are a better judge of criminal behavior than the director of the FBI.

I notice a express lack of threads calling for sanctions against Colin Powell. While I do agree that her actions were wrong and risky if we fired everyone whom tried to circumvent IT rules we would be a nation of the unemployed.

She is far from my ideal candidate but.

In fact that she was following the exact same policy as her predecessor.

While the costs may be different, have you ever logged into facebook from work? Have you ever installed an application on a company owned device? Have you ever used evernote or dropbox for official company work? Can you not empathize with this type of mistake?

When you get a new job do you cross reference every policy and procedure you are provided with?

I am betting you have, but due to an attribution error you excuse those you agree with while ascribing moral failings her mistakes.

The attacks against Clinton are purely a witch hunt by the Republicans whom cannot compete in an election based on ideas or morality. So they have to resort to ad hominem attacks .

The failure here is with the procedures and policy enforcement. The fix is in policy and enforcement and that is the only realistic solution that will assist in preventing it in the future.

From his statement.

Notice the lack of the phrase “grossly negligent”.

He wasinvestigating if it was grossly negligent, not that it was the finding.

If those are felonies, then a good 50% of the hundreds of people I’ve known in active duty and civilian military who regularly handle controlled and classified material are guilty of felonies.

Accidentally emailing the wrong information is very, very common. The worst punishment I’ve ever seen, aside from those who do it for profit or spying, is a temporary ban on handling classified material and a retraining period. I’ve never even seen anyone get fired for it.

Note that Clinton is already no longer Secretary of State. If you think she should be ineligible for the Presidency because of this, feel free to vote for Donald Trump.

Great galloping Ganesha, you’re just desperate now, man.

Speaking as a mental health professional: Let it go, if you can. Let go of some of the hate. You’ll feel better for it.

I’ll ask again, Clothahump: is there just a tiny chance that maybe Comey is an honorable and honest man who just feels differently than you do? And is it possible for anyone to disagree with you on politics without being dishonest, stupid, or morally corrupt?

I’ll never understand the outrage people feel when they think someone somewhere has gotten away with something.

Jealousy because they aren’t getting away with their own shit?

That’s why they would rather see millions of people go hungry rather than see one person abuse food stamps.

My coworker, who’s been blustering for months about Hillary definitely going to the hoosegow, appeared a bit peeved with the outcome as well. Fingers crossed that he’s wrong about a Trump landslide too.

But isn’t there a difference between “accidentally emailing the wrong information” and “setting up the infrastructure to maintain data offsite”?

It must be painful to be so stupid.

Let me explain, as if to a child: First, that statute requires “gross negligence”. Note that the FBI Director was careful not to say Clinton was “grossly negligent”. Second, no one has ever been convicted under that statute in its 99-year history. Third, the FBI Director explicitly stated that he wasn’t sure the statute was constitutional.

Your extreme partisanship has made it difficult for you to understand facts or reality. Also your stupidity isn’t helping.

I understand that you’re an old man. Have you always been this angry and stupid, or do you have some sort of senility/dementia thing going on?

I already posted the video of Comey’s explanation as to why he did not recommend prosecution, but apparently nobody will watch it.

Steady up, there, puppy. Remember…youth and skill is no match for age and treachery.

To quote Mr. Spock “for everything, there is a first time.”

Maybe some gutsy young AUSA should take up the cause. Comey’s recommendation doesn’t preclude prosecution. I mean, it’s a chance to make a high profile case in an election year! Of course, losing such a case could be a career-killer. Still…
Or have a I misunderstood the basics again?

They called him stupid…they called him ignorant…they called him deluded. But…this fall… **Clothahump **is out to prove them right. No constitutional limitations will hold him back. This fall, **Clothahump **is…ADA! The D stands for Dumb.

So, chronologically speaking, this is the finest version of Clothahump? A few more centuries he’ll be tying his own shoes.

Conservative talk shows have convinced him that if he only believes hard enough, Reality will be what they want it to be.

They’re wrong, of course, and that is where the anger comes from.
