Let’s look at that “Long-Double-Click” thread. You stated a brief question, and got several responses from men trying to answer/clarify the question so they could answer. You seemed reasonably pleasant, if less than clear.
Then TubaDiva responds with two comments, one that it might be your browser, and two that she’s passed the question on to the techs. Your immediate response is to liken her to slime and disparage her as a buck-passer. First of all, I don’t think it’s Tuba’s responsibility (job) to be the tech for UBB or this web site. I believe the administrators on this board are primarily here to keep the messages orderly and in the right forum. The specifics of programming UBB and how it works is not what they do. So she passed it back to the folks at UBB, who write the code and are supposed to deal with these types of incompatibility issues. Second, you were just rude.
Next, Majormd busts you for insulting the people whom you are asking to help solve your problem, and then you jump her for being a doctor, and then go off on a diatribe against doctors and lawyers.
And suddenly you’re proclaiming that the women on the board are ganging up against you because you’re a man. ???
I’ve got news for you. It’s not just the women who are ganging up against you. Or the doctors, lawyers, and computer programmers. Or even the illuminati. It’s the people who don’t like arrogant, rambling, nonsensical, paranoid, rude whiners.
