Simply gorgeous. The involvement of Tim Bekmambetov, who’s yet to do wrong by my lights, along with Tim Burton delights me to no end. (Although I admit, I’d rather see Twilight Watch, and I really don’t know exactly how much influence producers have on the final product.) Also, it doesn’t immediately strike me as a ‘kids’ movie, or at least not in the typical Disney sense.

Anyone know anything about the director, Shane Acker? Also, does anyone recognize the music from the trailer? I’m not certain whether it’s original Danny Elfman work, or something else. The ‘clean’ guitar part towards the end is lovely.
