I hope some of you good folkds can help! The 1980 movie “The Ninth Configuration” (based on Wm. Peter Blatty’s novel ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Killer Kane’) opens with a song about San Antone, and the guy’s voice singing it sounds SO familiar!! Can anyone identify the singer and/or the song and where I might get ahold of it – it’s a really good song! Thanks for your help! CrctRdr@yahoo.com
Can’t identify the song, but this post belongs in Cafe Society, where you’re more likely to get an answer quickly. But don’t re-post it there yourself (that’s called “cross-posting,” and is frowned upon). Some moderator will probably come along and move the thread.
Oh, and welcome to the SDMB!
Moving this to Cafe Society.
The song is San Antone by Barry DeVorzon (the film’s music director, or whatever it’s called). He also wrote Nadia’s Theme.
ICan’t tell you who sang it; sorry.
