This is a bit MPSIMS, but recently I’ve been addicted to the song “Over My Head (Cable Car)” by the Fray. I was extremely surprised to find out that they are not, in fact, from Great Britain or Ireland. The song sounds distinctly like a product of the British Isles to me. Apparently they’re from Denver.
Has anyone else had a “they’re from where?” moment?
Recently I’ve been assuming that all the new music I’ve heard that I’ve liked has been from England (Clearlake, Arctic Monkeys).
The song “How to save a life” is pretty good too. They played it at the end of last week’s Scrubs episode, which is how I found out about them in the first place. Oh, and I really like the little piano solo part on track 11 (I think it’s 11).
