You know, I’m actually starting to miss The Beastmaster. After seeing it 6,870 times as a teen/young adult, I haven’t seen it lately.
Porky’s brings back memories. I saw one of the sequels at a drive-in…with my boyfriend AND HIS DAD. His dad absolutely loved those movies, but as he was a school administrator he was reluctant to be seen in a regular theatre watching it. His solution was seeing it at the drive-in, with us. It’s a weird kind of movie to watch with a squeeze’s parent.
A lot of us from his country don’t care about his politics. At least not when there are so many like hombre who insist upon inserting some snide reference about bush into EVERY post no matter how ridiculously unrelated the subject is.
I’m trying to get federal funding to support research on my hypothesis that it is impossible to turn on a TV with cable any time of day and not find Little House on the Prairie showing.
I think “Friends” is starting to give “Little House…” a run for its money in this category.
