Uniforms are one thing… but it’s not because I’m dressing up like a schoolboy that I’m going to take calculus again, if you know what I mean.
Well, more famously, there was Pym Fortuyn, the late, only lamented by some, Dutch politician. He was openly gay, and he was certainly extremely nationalist, and accused by a lot of people as being racist.
I don’t think there’s a link between sexuality and racism/anti-racism, at all.
You either wrote that wrong or you have one funky fetish.
And if it’s the latter, call me.
Unfortunately, just as there are homophobic people of colour, there are queer racists. It does hurt to know.
As I’ve posted before, gay folk are human beings. That means the good side as well as the bad. There are selfish gays, there are racist gays, there are misogynist and misandrist gays, there are rude gays and Nazi gays and drug addict gays and murderer gays and, yes, child molesting gays and thieving gays and patholigical liar gays.
There are also good, selfless, race-blind, feminist, polite, anti-Nazi, drug-free, pacifist, child counseling, giving, and honest gays.
The ONLY thing that distinguishes us from straight folk as far as personality traits go is an attraction, both physical and affectional, to members of our own sex. The canonization of the oppressed notwithstanding, we’re human.
