The three pumpers are a hard-working lot who see a good job through to its effective completion. The two-pumpers are a lazy, shiftless bunch of louts, always looking for short cuts, whose sloping foreheads are the envy of their Australopithecus brethren.
I used to play a version where you could make up anything you wanted. Whoever came up with the most destructive item won.
The game is played on three, not after three.
Those heretics that call themselves three-pumpers are actually four-pumpers.
Who ever heard of going on four?
It’s called Rock, Paper, Scissors, right? You say EACH word, THEN you shoot your hand out and hope for the best.
Sheesh. She sounds awfully high maintenance.
I cant believe this thread got more than a hundred replies!
Somebody here said it correctly, it is Janken Pon!
one two shoot!
for the record, up until now the tally is (roughly, i’m not that bored) 39 - 28 in favour of 2 pumps, that is, on three instead of on four.
You people in favor of going on 3 don’t make any sense. The name of the game is Rock-Paper-Scissors. You are supposed to recite the name of the game as you prepare to shoot. If you shoot on Scissors, you will be subliminally encouraged to play Scissors. Your clever opponent will pick up on this and play Rock. You’ll be labeled a loser for the rest of your pathetic life.
Shooting on Scissors destroys all of the subtleties of the game. It’s the designated hitter rule of RPS.
Is it me or are there a lot more three-pumpers bashing two-pumpers than the other way around?
Morally corrupt!?!? Is it really that important how many times we shake our fists?
Oh, and Standup Karmic, it’s because of the thread title.
Ro!
Sham!
Bo! (Throw on Bo.)

. . . damn.
There are three possibilities. Therefore, you throw your hand out on the count of three. On the count of three means ON three.
One, Two, THREE.
Replace those words with “Paper” “Scissors” and “Rock” in whichever order you choose.
This is very simple. Always on the count of three. Anyone who disagreed lost by default, and I kicked them in the shins (nobody has ever disagreed). I’ve had far more arguments on the proper order to say the words in (I maintain “Paper, Scissors, Rock,” but RPS seems more popular so I acquiesced).
