When I was a kid and our family had not yet spread out so much, we gathered at 4:00 for the big dinners. Now it’s earlier, with 1:00 being the average. Still, it was wonderful this year, haven’t had such big numbers in a long time.
Seven days cooped up with a three year old, while sick, was a bit much. I’ll tell you nobody was happier to return to a nice, quiet house today than I was. I think I got the needed rest in last week, despite the chaos, so I’m feeling pretty good today. Catching up on work at my own pace. Just tired because my bedtime is now way off.
