I think I am going with a sign up cut off date of April 3. I will post that night how many dopers have signed up and then get lists ready to be emailed out by April 5th.

As long you guys don’t mind letting a shy lurker in on this - I’m in. I never get any mail except the occasional bank statement. Would people prefer postcards from Gothenburg, Sweden or Glasgow, Scotland? (I’m in Sweden now, but heading back to university in Glasgow soon…)

I love postcards in general, but I just started collecting postcards that have a picture of a mosquito and the caption “<state name> state bird”. I believe that such a postcard is available somewhere in each and every of the 50 states. So, I’d be particularly thrilled to receive a skeeter card from any state.
