Speaking of stamps, I think it would be fun to put interesting stamps on the postcards, instead of just general-issue bland stamps. I know I’m going to explore my options at the post office. You guys are getting fun stamps!
I mentioned to my wife what we were doing. She had the idea of going by the chamber of commerce. The lady there not only had cards and gave them to her free, she was tickled and thought it was a wonderfull idea…

Yuk, the 23 cent stamps sure are ugly (no offense George). Saturday I’ll get stamps for Canada and overseas people. I should mail 10 tomorrow, 4 on tuesday, then Saturday for the other 2.
I’ll be requesting another list soon.

Got mine out by yesterday evening.
I’ve not been that creative, though (what do you expect from somebody whose posts-per-day ratio is just barely above the limit of detection?) - so don’t compare messages.
But the cards themselves are rather… well, nice, imho.
Everyone is on their own list. It made out 3 lists of 16 ( so each person had 15 other names ) and one list of 17. Also I have gotten 2 more emails from dopers - So anyone wanting a couple more ( or another entire list ) feel free to email me.
I got list #3, so all you lucky duckys will be getting views of beautiful, scenic Fresno, California, Pride of the Central Valley, jewel of the Golden State! (Not really, I just made that up–good PR)

Don’t fret. Everyone got the same message on my postcards. I’m not that creative either. Mine will be in the mail tomorrow.
Well, everyone on the same list as me, will be getting Swedish postcards sent from Scotland. Unless, of course, I manage to be super efficient tomorrow before my flight leaves. Oh well, it will be 2 countries in one postcard - twice the fun! If only I wasn’t such a procrastinator… (and I have a sneaking suspicion that I might be one or two postcards short as well, perhaps one lucky person gets a Glasgow postcard… I must be the worst organized person in this postcard-exchange)
I’m running a little behind, because I requested the long list. That’s 62 names minus me = 61 ! I’m even sending them to the two on the list who live ~30 miles away, so bittersweet and Ravenous Lady, get ready for more Florida postcards in your life.

I am doing the first batch right now. The overseas people first, they have farther to go.

I was kinda waiting to see if there would be anymore late joiners. I have had three email me so far, but that doesn’t seem like a very long list. I can go ahead and send you one of the other lists and send your name to all those who wanted the long list.
