I’m game. Email on it’s way, postcard from Central PA to follow.
Wow. That’s a handy site. Now I know just how much it would cost to send Nermal to Abu Dhabi.
How about Singapore, the place of everlasting summer and indoor protestations only? Be warned, my handwriting sucks. Is it okay if I use Times New Roman?
Oooooh. Yes! That would be great. Times New Roman is fine. If you really can’t write legibly, that’s probably the way to go.
I will be happy to send the kidlets a post card from The Thoroughbred Capital of the World – Lexington, Kentucky.
Add the suburbs of NYC to your list. The commuters’ paradise, this is. Email is on the way.
If you’re looking for anything from other kids (maybe pen-pals or something), let me know. I know lots of Girl Scouts who might be interested.
Oh, I forgot to mention… my real name looks a little like a porn spam name. (Really. An accident of marriage, what can I say.) Please look for “Straight Dope” in the subject line before deleting your spam.
You aren’t going to make us wonder (or worse, SPECULATE), are you?
It’s kind of like if my name were “Twinkie Tada.” But please, speculate away! I’m sure it will be funnier than the jokes I already get!
Fixing to send e-mail, will send postcard immediately following. One from Oklahoma, USA. Think I’ll get a postcard of some tornados. We’re pretty much Og’s playground for tornados.
‘snipe out’
One from Germany on its way. Perhaps a buxom blond bar wench in a drndl.
“Drndl”. So that’s what they call it…
Kyla, in a couple of weeks or whenever, when the postcards have stopped arriving, will you post a followup saying how things went? I’m really curious to know the kids’ reactions.
Postcard sent today from lovely Central Washington. Hope the kids enjoy.
Oh, absolutely. I’ll post some pictures of the finished product. So far I’ve had responses from at least twelve countries. This is going to be so cool.
E-mail sent - I’ll send the postcard by this weekend…
Two postcards sent!
(Okay, they’re in the outbound mail tray at work, but the process has begun.)
Just put two in the mailbox. The airmail stamps, BTW, were only 84 cents each.
The cards each show a photo montage of scenes - I hope the kids don’t think everything in Mississippi is all smooshed together like that !! Also, I wrote in pencil in case it got wet.
Mine is in the post. T’was odd though, never bought postcards of the place I stay before. Managed to find one that you can see my house in, so that’s off to Bulgaria.
I’ve just sent the postcard. I have no idea how long it will take to get from Australia to Bulgaria.
