I just hope the kid gets a cameo role in the inevitable movie adaptation.

Who was the inspiration for another Melville film (Army of Shadows).
I did not know he was just a 15 year old, my criticism was too harsh. He’s cool for his age and played the meme fame well so far. I can’t take back what I wrote, but I can admit I was wrong.
(Keeps coming back to the hoping for something about the heist instead of some kid in a fedora. Keeps being disappointed.)
But where are the jewels?
Probably already out of the country, especially if this gang was hired to do the heist, given the financial backing to set it up, and provided with a dropoff place to deposit the loot ASAP.

There has been a breakthrough in the case of the $102 million heist of the Louvre jewels in Paris. Investigators say they have traced the thieves to an underground parking garage where they temporarily stashed the imperial jewels. The surveillance footage of the location marks the last confirmed sighting of the trove, which has now been missing for nearly three months.
Presumably this all ends in a climactic shootout à la Touchez pas au grisbi…
