Yay! I got a blue elephant card in the mail on Saturday from The Butterfly’s Ghost. And as a bonus, I too got a four-leaf clover! Thanks for the lovely lucky card. Elephants are my favorite! 
Came home from work today to discover two postcards in my mailbox.
One had an elephant’s butt from **EinsteinsHund **and the other the front half of an elephant, along with a real honest-to-goodness 4 leaf clover from Butterfly’s Ghost! That was a very coordinated postcard-mailing - you’re setting the bar up higher! 
One of my uncles has that same superpower of finding 4 leaf clovers! I’ve never been able to do it - but I can find lots of 3 leaf clovers if anyone wants. them. 
I too got the front end of an elephant and a four-leaf clover from Butterfly’s Ghost, but(t) the rear has not been brought up yet! Maybe tomorrow?

Hehehe. Yesterday I got a postie of an elephant’s backside in the mail from EinsteinsHund! LOVE it - and yeah, that’s setting the bar high.
Three participants have, by my tally, not yet posted here that they’ve sent off their postcards. I’ll PM them a friendly reminder.
Mine went in the post today. Life with my new job got hectic, so I was very glad to have purchased them when I was waitlisted (for which I am very grateful, was sad to have missed it). Getting them to the post office took more doing than usual. But I am in and by the deadline (by the skin of my teeth).
Now it is in the hands of Canada Post and the USPS. Good luck!
Got another one today! From blondebear, made of sustainable birch, from Mount Rainier National Park! It is a hard wooden postcard, the like of which I have never seen before, and i am insanely jealous. Love it!
Got two from Teuton. A really neat card depicting the West Somerset Steam Railway and another card depicting Exmoor wildlife, as Teuton puts it, “lovingly Photoshopped.”

I got a card today from Teuton. A bunch of seagulls eating fish and chips, with a message warning me not to feed the seagulls.
I made that mistake as a child. Never again. 
Apparently there are moose in the Northeast. Like the one on the card I just got from davida03801.

I was out cutting back the weeds this morning and the post lady handed me the mail. In it were two, count them, two postcards. One from davida03801, and the other from silenus.
Took the mail inside (partner’s passport finally arrived also) and he said to me, “who are the postcards from?”
“I am in a postcard exchange.”
“You’re in a wha-nevermind, of course you are.”

I received a card from MsJinx, who sent a setting sun type of view of a classic Colorado mountain and pond. Makes me want to get on a horse and do cowboy things.
needscoffee also sent a sunset, this one is over a Washington state marina filled with sailboats. The card is full of orangey reds from the sunset. Great depth of field, fantastic shot, everything is in focus from the foreground to infinity. Looks like the card had some trouble getting to me and took a second attempt at the address? Postage issue I’m guessing?
BTW, I accidentally bought one too many postcards and postage to get to the USA. Any Dopers not on my list want a card from Canada? PM me your address and I’ll plunk it in the mail.
