I received three highly entertaining postcards from mortal wombat today. I have never been to Wales, but now I simply must go. If only to boldly face down the “bleating monsters” that mortal wombat is such a wuss about.
Elendil’s Heir - I have to drop a letter in the mail tomorrow to a friend in Spain. If you need more senders, let me know. I am happy to help.
Thank you for that kind offer! There are still, I think, some people we haven’t heard back from. If anyone still has not received any postcards at all, please PM me AND minionkat and let us know.
I’m vaguely concerned that two of mine haven’t gotten where they’re going yet. They were all mailed the same day!
(I’ll keep watching, though, and if those two people don’t mention that they get them in, say, the next week, I’ll send new ones. If they get two from me, they get two. )
There should be a follow-up one, Silenus. I sent a pair. The snow card, obviously seeking the warm climes of the south, appears to have outpaced its companion.
I am late in checking in, but I won the postcard lottery with four great ones!
From Lsura a postcard with Centennial Park - sans snow! I’ve been to Atlanta and enjoyed it. Everything seemed to have Peach in its name!
From Silenus a postcard with the Smiley Public Library in Redlands, California. It looks warm there, which sounds good right now although it hit 40° today so it feels like spring here.
From Northern Piper two postcards, both of which made me laugh. The white one pictured Saskatchewan in the winter, and the other was Mail a Beaver, which I may attempt to cut out and assemble.
Another day, another postcard arrival. This time from Chicka Picosa. Also a science center shot.
I’m starting to think I should have written more on my cards. I was oh so brief in my musings. Alas that is what happens when I write them out after working overnight.
I’m puzzled why all three of the Saskatchewan in winter cards have arrived, but only one of the companion cards. I posted them all at the same time. Lsaura and Silenus, Canadian fauna should be arriving.
