I can only imagine that all the post offices from here to there are filled with people who are aficionados of vintage-ish postcards from the middle of nowhere!
And I used all my international stamps, so next year there will be new ones!

@ToadBuddy only just got a a card from sunny California @Karen_Lingel so on the assumption that posties are people too and I understand trudging through 2m of snow is a year round fact of life in Canada, then if it arrives before Australia gets out of lockdown, that would be a pleasant bonus.

Our provincial government is so flippy floppy that most of us don’t know if we’re in lockdown or not, but the good news is is that we’re at Stage 3, and that’s apparently a good thing. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Today I learned that if someone is clever enough to print photos on the right sized card stock, a pic of a fabulous yawning cat can be used as a postcard.

My postcard finally made it!
Just showed up~has so many postmarks on it I can’t read them all! One was August 9th in St. Louis.
It’s an adorable card. Cute Amish kids on homemade wooden scooters heading down the road to school in Pennsylvania.
I’d love to know where it’s been all these weeks. The stories it could probably tell! It definitely led a more exciting life than I do.

Really, the postmark area is one big smudge, except for St Louis, Aug 9th. It must have been lots of other fascinating places. I hope it enjoyed the local cuisine and museums for me in all those places, whatever they were. Those cute Amish kids had quite the summer jetting around on their scooters.
Holy smokes, I dropped it off at the post office on July 16! It must have gone pony express! Glad you finally got it.
