Saskatchewan Roughriders season opener tonight!

I’m frankly not that optimistic about this season. Riders dropped both their exhibition games, relatively new quarterback, Eric Tillman not involved in a hands on way, due to … personal issues …

But, a home game on a beautiful July evening, with Taylor Field at its rowdy best, and a burger and a couple of Pils - still pretty good!

Plus, Henry Burris threw away the Stamps’ opening game through a series of picks and fumbles -Burris-freude always goes down well with Rider fans. :stuck_out_tongue:

Burris made a couple of mistakes, but only a couple. The Stamps did a nice job of coming back from a hefty deficit; but those mistakes cost them, no question. Still, I liked what I saw from Calgary in Wednesday’s game. Gives me hope for a good season.
