Lynn, ya got a way about ya. Your answers are soothing, somewhat satisfying, avoid inciting additional fribbergibberish and generally have ood distractions. Very professional. If we had to vote which MODS would receive pay vs. be volunteers, you’d be high on the list.
Which brings me to the point, re: the particular thread in question here. I assume you accessed it (no reason not to) and if it were some ‘get rich’ or similar, you would have said so. Consequently, from the tone and length of your post, plus the redirect to MODMAIL, I can assume that this particular thread falls into the category of: “Teeming Masses, None of Your Business!”
OK, I’m satisfied, but I wonder why Guinastasia referced it in the first place. Maybe just to yank our chain? Think I’ll ask her if she’s reachable.

The thread was called “What % of the Straight Dope Community Do Ya’ll Think Is Christian?” and was IIRC started by lowblow, who is banned now, apparently for being a sock. That seems to be the reason the thread is now hidden.
I think that’s sad because it had a very interesting religious discussion.
Damn, that *was * a good thread, if not just for the incredibly bad guesses made by new members (someone suggested that at least 80% of Dopers were overtly Christian, IIRC). I believe it may actually have been the reason Czarcasm started his religion poll.
I’m also damned absentminded. I INTENDED to tell just what thread it was (sort of a religion poll, as mkl12 said, started by a returning troll), but I got distracted and left the room for a few seconds. When I came back to the post, I had forgotten my intentions. I checked my post for grammar and spelling mistakes, submitted it, and went on to other things.
I don’t know if it’s old age, the medications I’m taking, or just too many low-blood-sugar episodes, but I’m getting much more forgetful lately. My bite is just as nasty as ever, though, so I am assured of a place on the staff as long as I can remember who I’m supposed to bite from one moment to the next.
