Well I’ve been happily surprised. Jellyhead Lindros hasn’t been knocked stupid (yet) and is leading the Rangers in scoring and centering the FLY line. As much as I don’t like the Icelanders, it’s good to see that they’re near the top. It’s breathing some life back into the old Ranger-Islander rivalry.
Now if only they would do something about those stupid ties on the jersey.

With the playoffs quickly approaching I was actually getting ready to start a new hockey thread, did a search and saw this one and thought it was more appropriate to bump this one instead.
You might not remember me from the previous hockey thread. I was the one that talked (mild) smack about the Caps and hasn’t been seen since. That’s because the Capitals wound up sucking, badly.
But I enjoyed the hell out of the last hockey thread ("will someone please tell Toronto it’s “Leaves”? Chuckle) and hoped to see it continue. Jarbaby’s thread seems to be doing well for hockey chat, but an OP about one hockey team leading off just strikes me as wrong for all the other fans.

Finally, my Bruins are looking great for the post season. Looks like we’ll have everyone healthy(godwilling), and no off ice issues causing a distraction. We’re two points ahead of the Flyers for the conference title and are heading down to Philly for a game tomorrow night.
Any flyers fans care to wager on the tilt? No money, of course. Just bragging rights.
