Losing record in denver means Belechick is not the genius you think he is
Doesn’t mean that Denver is the team to beat, either.
No team is scoring on that Denver defense
And the Broncos, who had Sieman on their roster all of last season, traded for Sanchez and drafted Lynch. It doesn’t appear they were certain Sieman’s a quarterback you can build a team around.
They’ve allowed 57 points this regular season (not counting the preseason), twice allowing 20.
They’ve been scored upon in every game.
Therefore, despite your claim to the contrary, teams ARE scoring on them.
Conversely, the Patriots have scored over 20 points per game (again, just regular season, no preseason), with their lowest outburst being 23.
The Patriots are scoring more points per game than the Broncos are allowing. Pure, simple math shows that you are incorrect in your assessment.
Your argument is invalid.
pats have not played anyone with a good Offense yet
Bills, texans and dolphins
What the fuck does that have to do with the Pats’ offense or the Denver defense?
And if they played the Broncos this week, they still wouldn’t have played anyone with a good offense. The Broncos are 20th in the league in passing, 14th in rushing.
You can’t even get the teams they’ve played right - it was Cardinals, Dolphins, Texans. They play the Bills this week.
Denver’s 3 opponents to date all have a losing record - 1-2. Of the 3 teams the Patriots have beat, one has a winning record - the Texans are 2-1, and the others have 1-2 records. Therefore, it is an undeniable fact by mathematical analysis that the Patriots are better than the Broncos.
Let me rephrase that
Pats have played three teams who are bad on both sides of the ball. Denver is dominant on defense and ok on offense
For the money, I’m going with denver because of the defense
For the record, according to defensive team rankings through three weeks, the Broncos are:
- #7 in yards allowed
- #4 in passing yards allowed
- #27 in rushing yards allowed
- #8 in points allowed
- #14 in takeaway / giveaway ratio (currently at +0)
- #23 in sacks

My take: good defense so far (it’s still early, and one weird game can throw those stats off), but not as dominant as you think, cg16.
