After makin’ myself presentable, I began the long, arduous trudge from the bedroom to the study to begin the irkday. Woe! Woe is me! 
66 right now, projected high 98 (this is noticeably lower than the last few days, but still pretty awful). Mega-blurf.
At least I have a 3-day weekend, but do need to spend a fair amount of it on mining out the mini-cave.

I keep getting up several hours later than I intend to. I should stop this.
I should stop using the word “should” and I should actually get to doing things instead of saying “I should do this, I should do that.” I’m should-ing myself in the foot.

Errands have been run and I’ve finally finished my morning surfing. It’s time to scald and peel peaches.
Incidentally, is there a stupider product than fat free half-and-half? Isn’t the point of the cream half the fat content to make it creamy? Stoopit. Just stoopit.
The point is to get folks to buy it.

Today so far has been nothing but annoyances.
I have to call carefirst to unlock my account so I can pay my bill.
I hate them, the insurance part is good, but the website and customer service suck snot through a straw.
Maybe I just need a nap or something.

obviously I am not the only person having problems with their screwed up website
So I am on hold for 23 minutes and then I get disconnected
Now my wait time is 7-10 minutes

Peaches are done! I’ve got three 1# bags in the freezer and 2# in a bowl in the fridge for the pie. I’m waiting for the rolled-up crust to thaw so I can bake the pie.
I think I need to clean out the fridge - I came across a container of fuzzy peaches in the back - fuzzy with mold. ick.
Dishwasher has been emptied and reloading has begun. I’m going to take a bit of a break before getting back in there.
After much debate, OYKW and I have come to a major decision. We shall have fried pickles, broiled scallops, and fried shrimpies tonight. We weighed all the pros and cons and are confident in our decision.
