I thought I’d contributed the peach streusel pie recipe to the Mumper recipe blog, but apparently not. So here it is in order that you may all envy me. 
Peach Streusel Pie
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup butter (I use about 6 Tbsp and it works fine)
1 large (1# 13oz) can of sliced peaches, drained (I used 2# of fresh so it’d be extra peachy!)
1 Tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp cream (I use half-and-half)
Cut the first three ingredients together to form a crumbly mixture
Sprinkle half of the mixture into a prepared pie shell
Arrange peaches on top of mixture (I just dump them it - I got no time to “arrange”)
Combine sugar and nutmeg and sprinkle on peaches
Beat together egg, vanilla, and cream and pour over peaches
Top with remaining crumb mixture.
Bake at 400°F for 40 minutes. Cool before serving.
This is my favorite of all of my MIL’s pie recipes.
I didn’t realize they still were able to sell pickles after Atkins went down the tubes.
Note made. One of the few English things I really enjoy is the rhyming slang. Screw Bacon or whoever actually wrote all that stuff, rhyming slang is England’s best contribution to civilization. 
You realize that the deadliest snakes are all attracted by singing, right? That’s why most aboriginal people tend to jump around a lot when they are singing – to keep from being bitten.

Howdy Y’all! Back from an early dindin at the good seafood place. We’s stuffded! We shared the scallops and shrimpies and had sides of cheese grits, green beans, and baked N.O.T.s, plus the fried pickles for an appetizer. YUM! Plus all for the price of one meal cause mine was free.
‘Tis gettin’ all cloudy like out. I hope this means tstorms as predicted this evenin’.
Our supper was thrown together, but not too terrible. Fettuccine in herb and butter sauce with peas and sauteed shrimps. Peach pie a little later. *mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm *pie!
I hung out with my old friend at her place today. Here’s a picture of me at her place, with my cute new friend. My hair’s a bit of a mess in that picture, but the two of us match because we both have a piece of hair sticking up. 
My family and I had barbecue chicken for supper.
‘Tis thunderatin’ all around. Come on storm! We have been invitated to N.O.L. tomorrow at what is supposed to be a good Eyetalian place in Americus, GA. JDD and Partner, OYKW and I are goin’ up to have N.O.L. with JDD’s sister, who invitated us all. An eighty mile round trip road trip. We’s wild!

Three-day weekend dropped to two, since boss needed to switch my Monday off for another person’s Tuesday off, so the other person can attend a mandatory class on Tuesday. I’d dearly love to choke said other person, but I adore my boss, so will only balk at such a request from him if I really do have a major schedule conflict.
Today was a very crabby day. Seemed like everyone around me was happily tap-dancing on my last nerve. I came close to saying “forget it” and going home at lunch for a mental health afternoon, but I did finish my day.
Stopped on the way home and acquired chocolate. That should help. I’m also unreasonably tired, so it’ll probably be an early night.
In case any of you was wondering, the pie is quite yum.
Work is done for a day. I have a warm puppy and a cold beer.
