There will be great gridlock and thus great prosperity, with the deficit shrinking in the remaining six years of Trump’s Presidency(should he remain that long). Divided government is the best thing that could ever happen to Donald Trump.
Much more extreme IMO. Including dynamic effects of adjusting taxes is the norm. Gaming the letter of the rules by including unrealistically large dynamic effects is one thing. It’s not overtly ignoring the rules.
There’s another practical matter. The Senate still needs to finish appropriations work or pass another Continuing Resolution. That can’t happen without Democrats voting for the bill(s). Any attempt to reconcile before appropriations would happen under credible threat of government shutdown in December. If McConnell wants to recess to be home for Christmas he needs Democratic votes after the election.
