She’s been in the hospital/rehab center for, what, 2 weeks now? I assume someone’s been taking care of him during this period.
I am obviously past Thanksgiving since is was turkey sloppy Joes for dinner.
…& I’m driving all legal-like again. Registration on car expired as of the end of Nov. (Despite it not being legal, somehow my registration isn’t in sync with inspection.) Also put the current insurance card in the car since the previous one expired almost two weeks ago. (Same policy has been in effect since I got the car, was just missing the current paperirk in the car; the card expires every six months). The good news is that pretty much ensures that I won’t get pulled over.
My sinuses cannot handle this low humidity.

I haven’t posted in the MMP for a while, but I just had to add my sadness at Rosie’s passing. She was such a cheerful light in everyone’s life.
RIP Naomi Rose.
I ended up working a 17 hour shift, since nobody showed up.
I got to meet her in August.
Except every year, I lose a friend right after hockey convention. This year it was rosie. 
And gardentraveler, Hockey Monkey, and Dolores Reborn, thank you for stopping by the MMP.
Horrible and beyond. The OW spotted it and let me know as soon as she picked me up tonight. I feel the same kind of hole in my life I felt after Norinew <sic?>. I’ve never been shy about saying I don’t care for computers or the internet all that much. But a big exception is here - especially all the Mumpers past, present and future. You all are a big part of the last 10 years or so; I used to catch and read them even before I joined. And Rosie was a big part of it all. She will be constantly in my thoughts for months to come and in my heart forever. Until we meet in the next version of real life ----

In additional craptastic news: my cousin’s son was killed in a car accident yesterday. He was in the Air Force; can’t remember where he was stationed. I’m not especially close to my cousin, but it’s clear from what she’s posted on FB that he was her pride and joy.
So sad.

In less dismal news, I slept long and well last night. I didn’t lock the bedroom door, so Taz opened it this morning, and he and Ziva came and joined me for a while. **FCD **was sleeping in the guest room because of a new backache - the bed in there seems to be more comfortable when his back acts up. Alas…
Higgs has been tended to and I breakfasted on 'nanner bread - it is such a good recipe!! For now, I’m finishing my Diet Coke while my sweetie snoozes on. After we shower, laundry begins! Woohoo!

It’s also trash day, Geology (not the final) test day, English poem and paper day, Sunny leaves for Hawaii (have fun!) day, and prepare for working my ass off all next week day.
I already proofread the poem, I still have to proofread the paper.
I’ll need to finish laundry, and cook up some stuff that I can re-heat during the week.
I’m still sleepy. We don’t have to leave until 11:30, so I might lay back down for a while.
I’ll be happy when this coming week is over.
